Description
Crankshaft
PCE cast crankshafts are perfect for mildly built street engines or just to replace stock crankshafts that have seen better days. These PCE crankshafts are precision-ground and micro-polished to exacting tolerances.
Connecting Rods
PCE I-beam connecting rods are one of the strongest connecting rods available. PCE I-beam connecting rods are perfect for mild street and performance applications up to 450 horsepower. These rods incorporate a special doweled cap for specific cap-to-rod alignment and are profiled with extra clearance for stroker applications.
Pistons
PCE Hypereutectic pistons with anti-friction skirt coating are manufactured from a aluminum alloy which contains 16 percent silicon for greater strength and wear resistance. By combining the hypereutectic alloy with the permanent mold process, the piston is strong, lightweight, and thermally-efficient. These pistons run tighter piston-to-wall clearances, improving ring seal and longevity. They are ideal for street, bracket racers and oval track.
Piston Rings
PCE piston rings are designed to stand up to the rigor of racing and high-performance street use, while providing a long lasting life. PCE piston rings feature: Plasma-moly coated, barrel-shaped, ductile iron top rings that seal against blow-by when the piston rocks in its bore; tapered secondary rings that seal against the oil control ring_s upper surface for excellent oil control; and 3-piece oil rings with stainless steel expanders that provide accurate tension without the loss of any horsepower.
Main and Rod Bearings
We use only the best in bearings so everyone of our kits includes King Main and Rod Bearings. Why? They use silicon aluminum bi-metal construction. Silicon aluminum is the choice for many of today's engine manufacturers because of its high fatigue strength and superior temperature threshold. Bearing wear is dramatically reduced and the fatigue strength is greatly improved.
Brand Information
In 1979, the company was founded with Pete's Performance, which was a small speed workshop. It began by building engines for customers as a hobby, and it has now grown to include selling, assembling, manufacturing and racing high performance engine parts. Over the years, the company has grown into a worldwide high performance powerhouse. Growing from a one-man bricks-and-mortar business; to now a supply chain in which entails more than 400+ people all across the world. Today, Pete's Performance has evolved into the internationally known Speedmaster: which has distribution centres and offices is Sydney, Los Angeles and Shanghai.
SUB-BRAND
Founded in Sydney Australia with one CNC Machine increasing to sixty 5-Axis CNC machines before being acquired in 2013. The Company's main focus has always been "Speed to Market", launching 1,200+ new products each year. Needing just one month to develop a new product and get it on to the shelf, compared to the six-month industry average. PCE has a policy of zero advertising, preferring to invest a percentage of revenues in new product development. These products being white-labeled to most of the biggest brands in the business.
