Not unlike those reality show build scenarios where a team of car builders, facing a ridiculous deadline, fight the clock to ultimately reveal a beautiful vehicle. But this build is real and the deadline – arriving in Las Vegas the weekend before the biggest of all automotive trade shows – is fact, not fiction.

Speedmaster supports the kids. The Speedmaster Super Street Racing team took time recently to visit a local Elementary School to show kids a little bit of what we do. Kids at the De Anza Elementary School in the San Gabriel Valley got to see the #11 Super Street Racing machine and asked questions about racing and Speedmaster. Kids were invited to sit in the car and put on a racing helmet and gloves for pictures. The #11 Racing Team look forward to making more visits at local car shows and schools to promote interest within the new generation of enthusiasts in both racing and performance automotive.

John Zappia and the Fuchs Monaro’s successful start to 2017 has continued with the team earning the WA Top Comp Championship at Perth Motorplex on Saturday night.

John Zappia wrapped up the ANDRA Top Doorslammer season in fine style at Adelaide International Raceway on Saturday with another victory for the Fuchs Monaro.

John Zappia claimed an unprecedented tenth ANDRA Top Doorslammer Series title with his Fuchs Holden Monaro on Sunday at Perth Motorplex's Westernationals, adding to his record of dominance in one of Australian drag racing's most competitive categories - and winning the Westernationals on his home turf was an added bonus.

John Zappia might have emerged as the winner of the Goldenstates at Perth Motorplex several weeks ago but it came at a cost with bent rods on two separate runs and a close challenge from Scott MacLean.
