Last weekend the 2016 City of Ipswich Winternationals were held at Willowbank Raceway. Being the final championship round of the 400 Thunder season for Australian drag racing, our team was tuned up and ready to go.

The 2016 Winternationals has been run, won and gone for another year – but National Champion John Zappia is still licking his wounds after a bruising time at the big event.

On the 23rd June 2016, CEO's from across Australia will be sleeping out in the cold for the annual St Vincent CEO Sleepout. Speedmaster CEO Jason Kencevski is humbled by the opportunity to support St Vincent’s amazing cause again this year, where they will be experiencing for one night what over 100,000 Australians experience every night.

The Home Group WA 45th Westernationals were run this weekend at the Perth Motorplex under the IHRA sanctioned 400 Thunder Australian Professional Drag Racing Series and John Zappia stamped his authority in the Pro Slammer class by re-setting the Australian National Record at 5.683, getting to the final, and maintaining his lead in the series.

Australian Top Doorslammer Champion John Zappia is on his way to the Australian Nationals at Calder Park this weekend to take on seven other Top Doorslammer teams, and has his eye on the prize. The event is round four of the ANDRA 2015/2016 Championship and the first time the Nationals has been run at Calder in fifteen years.
